Life After Sport

There are many events that can lead to the loss of participating in your athletic sport.  Whatever the cause it's normal to grieve. It's never easy to think about what life after your sport looks like. I can relate. While my own experience isn't yours, I'm here to help you work through and envision what might come next.

Perinatal Health

  • Pregnancy can be so many things.  There is no cookie-cutter experience. Every person and each new pregnancy is different. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious or all over the place.

  • Postpartum depression is very real and 1 in 7 women suffer from it. You may feel guilt over your feelings or you may not want to connect with baby.

  • Postpartum anxiety is also common and can make it hard to enjoy things in the moment.

I myself have dealt with these and am very empathetic to each individual's experience. I want to provide support and skills that can help you enjoy this time in your life.

Teens

Being a teen is hard.  You're not a child, but you're not an adult. Everything can feel like it's changing: your body, friends, interests, and family dynamics.  Navigating life as a teen can be challenging. I care what you want and how you feel. I promise to listen with openness, providing you with a nonjudgmental environment in which to process.
